A fast-growing, medium sized shade tree with enormous leaves and very showy white and purple orchid-like flowers in early summer, long narrow beanpod-shaped fruit in appear in the fall. Catalpas provide many wildlife benefit! The flowers are visited by pollinators like hummingbirds and bees.
Plant on the east or west side of your home for maximum energy benefit.
